Dr. Khoury trained in Melbourne on the Orthopaedic Training Program and then completed his fellowship in Oxford at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre specialising in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery and Sports Medicine.


He is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, the Australian Arthroplasty Society, the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, The Girdlestone Orthopaedic Society, Oxford, UK, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.


As well as holding the position of a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at University of New South Wales and a member of the Australian Academy of Surgical Educators where he participates in various senior teaching roles. He also holds the Chair position on the Standards Australia Committee advising on technical aspects of Orthopaedic implants.

Dr. Khoury is passionate about providing quality medical treatment and dedicates much of his time to building his surgical experience and skill set both overseas and locally. His dedication to education enables him to maintain best practice & knowledge of medical trends and to keep abreast of new orthopaedic technology.

Dr. Khoury prioritises the importance of giving back by visiting Honduras every year as part of “The Surgical Outreach Program” as one of the lead surgeons. This program assists those living in third-world countries to receive complex surgery and training opportunities for Honduran Surgeons to support them with clinical training and expertise.

An advocate for overall wellbeing Dr. Khoury likes to train and keep fit, and believes in the power of a good coffee, a fast car and his beloved Tigers!

As a specialist Hip & Knee surgeon with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Khoury is also recognised as a Revision Expert and is able to assist with complex surgery and issues.
